How to add your Market Labs Product Shopping Feed to Facebook Commerce Manager

  1. Start from the Feeds page in the Market Labs app by clicking Feeds from the top navigation

  2. Click the clipboard button to copy the Feed URL for the feed you want to add

  3. Login to Facebook's Commerce Manager

  4. Start creating your catalog:

    • If this will be your first catalog, click Get Started. Select Create a Catalog and then click Get Started

    • If you already have at least one catalog, you'll see all your catalogs listed. Select + Add Catalog to create a new one

  5. Select the type of inventory you advertise or sell and click Next

  6. Select Upload Product Info for how you plan to add items in Commerce Manager

  7. Select the Business Manager account that your catalog belongs to. This unlocks more ways to use your catalog than selecting a personal account and enables you to assign other people permission to work on the catalog. To select a Business Manager account, you must be a business admin.

  8. Enter a name for your catalog

  9. Click Create

  10. Open the Catalog tab and go to Data Sources.

  11. Select Add Items. If a dropdown appears, select Add Multiple Items.

  12. Select Data Feed followed by Next.

  13. Under Is your spreadsheet or file ready?, select Yes and then Next.

  14. Choose Use a URL for how to upload your file.

  15. Paste the File URL you copied from Market Labs and click Next

  16. Choose an hourly, daily or weekly upload schedule for your data feed and select Next.

  17. Select Save Feed and Upload.

Replacing versus Update Feed on Schedule
There are two settings for your upload schedule with Facebook's Commerce Manager and it is important that this setting remain on the default setting Replace Schedule. This setting does a complete update of your existing feed by adding new items, updating existing items and deleting any items that aren't in the new file.
